The Abryanz Style and Fashion Awards (ASFAs) celebrate the fashion designers and fashionistas in Africa, particularly in the pearl of Africa; Kampala, Uganda. The awards are known for their ability to recognize, honor, inspire and set trends in celebration of excellent fashion designers. Here are the best looks at the 2022 Abryanz Style and Fashion Awards.
The ASFAs is a true celebration of fashion and style that brings together Africans on the entire continent and in the diaspora together in one evening of glitz and glamour. The event was created in 2013 by Brian Ahumuza, and the 2022 theme was The Awakening. Here are more gorgeous looks from the ceremony below.
The award ceremony was held on the 16th of December 2022. The show was hosted by Sheila Gashumba and Ethan Kavuma. Other showcases were from Nigeria’s Mai Atafo, South Africa’s David Tlale, Monica Kansiime and Shebbah Kasami Priscilla from Uganda, and South Sudanese designer Rajah Keji, whose showcase shines a fresh perspective on South Sudan as a home of abounding talent, not war.
