Not3s is a fresh talent, but his latest EP Take Not3s II has him spitting verses like a veteran. I’ve been hooked on Sit Back Down featuring Maleek Berry for months now.
As he says on Just Fine, Not3s is doing just great, just fine.
Previous releases from the EP had us eagerly awaiting the release of this EP, and Not3s blew all expectations out of the park. With this 10-track sequel to Take Not3s, the Nigerian-British artist proved that he’s mastered the game and he’s here to stay.
Nobody could ever stop me, I’m forever runnin’
I’m the truth and you try some of this pudding
Catch them fishes with the way I bring the hooking– Not3s (Got)
The EP features songs about his struggle to the top, and he constantly re-iterates that no one can knock him off. A 10-track sequel to Take Not3s, the Nigerian-British artist Not3s dropped this EP last week, and alerts everyone that he’s not a new kid on the block anymore.

If you’re looking for Instagram captions, you can consider Take Not3s II the jackpot. What can beat this lyric from Neverland, ‘No competin’ cause I’m rising above every talent‘ or this Sit Back Down one, ‘No sauce, we be too saucy …. Add no sauce now, I’m juicin‘. Your followers will thank you, and Not3s.
Also, Not3s references his Nigerian heritage throughout the album. From featuring a prominent Nigerian record producer and artiste, Maleek Berry to titling a track ‘Palm Wine‘ (a popular local drink in Nigeria) and ‘Nigerian Eagle‘, plus all the numerous references in this EP.
Mum got my chain from Nigeria

That’s standard. December I’m there🤘🏾 https://t.co/jLnMz8tfl6

It’s quite clear that Not3s isn’t shy of his heritage. There’s also a track called Nigerian Eagle that pays homage to both his Nigerian and Hackney heritage.
Hit up the motherland for a native show
It sure felt like Neo in the Matrix seein’ real life
What’s bein’ televised is far from what my people is
‘Cause my people really live, history won’t ever die– Not3s (Neverland)
The relationship arena is taken care of with ‘Stressing Me’. This track about lying partners and pretenders, might be the most relatable song for people with cheating partners. The difference is that Not3s does not follow the norm and play the victim card. Rather, he stands strong and calls out the partner.
I heard from one of my guys, That you just fucked with every guys
So how could you be so down for me? Don’t you try, don’t you try hide
I can see through your disguise and your lies-Not3s (Stressing Me)
For the relationships without a hitch, you would be bumpin and grinding to Palm Wine. Palm Wine is a smooth song that will definitely have you smiling and thinking of your partner all day long. It describes a secure relationship, with assurance in the strength of love.
I know you know, that you’re safe by my side and that there’s nobody else holdin’ you, You know it’s true,
I said I know you know, feel the feeling inside when I look in your eyes and you know it’s true, That’s why I’ve chosen you-Not3s (Palm Wine)
This EP is a banger. You can listen and get Take Not3s II here.

Not3s is a hugely successful pop star. He has sold hundreds of millions of records, and with this Take Not3s II EP, we can rest assured he’ll be around for a very long time.
I love all the tracks on this EP, but my favourite track is Just Fine. It’s an upbeat song that always inspires me, whenever it’s on. It’s constantly on repeat. A close second for me would be a tie between Sit Back Down and Palm Wine.
