New York Fashion Week always has the most daring designs. It houses collections that make you sit up and take notice. Every fashion connoisseur knows that NYFW is not to be missed.
This year, fashion designers set a lot of unique trends that will definitely be remembered for a long time. Here are our favourite NYFW fashion designs for Spring/Summer 2020.
Jeremy Scott:
Jeremy Scott was the first designer with a collection that caught my eye. Their designs played with colours, shapes and various elements of design.
Khaite:
Khaite! Khaite! Khaite! My mind was truly blown with the minimalist elegance of their designs. Their theme for NYFW SS20 was fresh, simple and regal style.
Self-Portrait:
This runway was eclectic. However, this brown outfit was my favourite look. It’s unique and a mix of materials and cuts that aren’t usually paired together. It works.
Longchamp:
These designs were colourful with a clean silhouette. The type of look that would work well in various settings. Here’s my fave outfit from their runway below.
Christian Siriano:
I loved the looks from this show. What I loved, even more, were the makeup looks. All the models stood out. This bedazzled gown is my favourite of them all.
Area:
Area did a good job of reminding viewers of the essence of fashion. The show was spectacular and the expert handling of unique materials prove that Area is a fashion brand to watch for.
Brandon Maxwell:
Pale pink with a delicately rugged feel is how I would describe my fave look from this runway. This look reminded me of Lori Harvey. Lori’s a #BossBabe with a great personal style that placed her on Meek Mill’s wish list.
Chromat:
Chromat had one of the most beautiful runways during New York Fashion Week. The diversity was beautiful, the designs were beautiful, the beauty and style of the designs were beautiful. Everything was beautiful.
Sies Marjan:
These designs highlight the material’s quality. Sies Marjan’s runway makes you respect the cloth, and its ability to be moulded into gorgeous designs. All his fashion designs were unique and graceful.
Rosie Assoulin:
Aesthetic appeal and a throwback to past fashion trends combine at Rosie Assoulin’s NYFW show to create a gorgeous masterpiece.
Nicole Miller:
Nicole Miller NYFW show derived inspiration from various sources and made them her own. See these photos below as proof.
