Now to celebrate the Queen‘s thirty seventh birthday, we’ll list our top five tracks from her most recent musical project, Everything Is Love. This joint album was released in June 2018 by Beyonce and her husband, Jay Z, under the collective name, The Carters.
Everything Is Love is an album that testifies to the strength of Bey and Jay’s love. Their union has been through the storm in recent years but this album proves that they are as strong as ever.
Here are our top five tracks in descending order;
5. SUMMER;
Gosh, Summer is the perfect song to make love to. It ignites sensual vibes that will have you craving your partner. In this song, Queen B states how she adores Jay-Z’s affection and attention. From there she welcomes him to swim in her ocean. This song is so hot, it’s sizzling.
Let’s make love in the summertime, yeah
On the sands, beach sands, make plans
To be in each other’s arms, yeah
Plus the outro by Damian Marley saying that love is universal and expresses itself as a form of forgiveness and compassion for each other will have you calling bae ASAP. This song calls out to all the lovers.
4. FRIENDS;
In Friends, both Beyoncé and JAY-Z recognize the important roles their friends play in their lives and how they have contributed to their success. If you’ve got real friends, you know that they are special. Being a true friend in this age of fakeness is hard work. Heck, friendship is a fulltime job.

Jay Z even reveals that his best friend, Ty-Ty will be the guardian of his kids if he and Beyonce die early. The song is a touching ode of friendship. Stating that friends pray for each other, wish better things, stick around and never leave. Also this line, ‘My friends are goals, your friends are foes‘, has to be one of the best lyrics of 2018.
3. BLACK EFFECT;
From the intro, Black Effect is AH-MAA-ZING! There’s this black lady (yup, I know her nationality by her voice) who gives a mini-speech on love. She espouses the variants of love but reaches the conclusion that love of humanity is the most needed in the world today.

This power couple addresses the recent issues affecting the black community. Jay Z tackles heavy topics and is blunt about all the negative vibes regarding the blacks. It’s no surprise that Genius aptly named the track an unapologetic anthem.
2. APESHIT;
Beyonce and her husband, Jay Z are the titans of music, and they prove this on Apeshit. Bey raps, ‘Hang one night with Yoncé, I’ll make you famous‘ which is so true. Apeshit is a crowd banger and has the most iconic music video of 2018.

This is my best song in Everything Is Love. This upbeat song also doubles as a motivational song. Plus there’s a cameo from Blue Ivy, where she shouts out Rumi and Sir. This song is BOMB AF! For real, I play this song all the time.

In this track, Beyonce lets everyone know that her great-great-grandchildren already rich, and she has no time for nonsense. She’s upfront about her issues and owns her success.
