Jane Liu is a Chinese artist who moved back to China from New York, during the pandemic. Her art captures nature and humans in a waiflike form. Jane Liu is an illustrator that creates fantastic worlds. She observes life and the world calmly and sensitively, takes rational observations and perceptual feelings as materials. She combines these with her thoughts to ferment and create various fantasy worlds.
She is running a visual art studio in Shanghai, provides illustrations for magazines such as the Nylon Magazine and Marie Claire; creates keyframes and art for animations; and works on packaging and advertisement campaigns for Hermès, LaMer, Erdos, Taikoo Li, Marvis and Huawei amongst others
