Mariah Carey, popularly called Mimi, just recently released a song called GTFO. GTFO is internet slang for Get the F*k Out. It’s a sassy bop, which has many speculating that it’s a breakup message to an ex. See the accompanying video below;
Honestly, I love this song. I’ve watched it about ten times on YouTube. This song sent me back to the golden era of music in the early 2000s. After bingeing on this song, I watched a ton of old songs by these artists; Mariah Carey, Pussycat Dolls, Olivia, Jagged Edge, Carl Thomas, Ja Rule etc.
Mariah Carey is an iconic singer, and hands down one of the best vocalists of all time. It is little wonder that many people are loving this song. The reviews are mostly positive, and a lot of memes have been created using this song. See some examples below;
