Mi Casa Is Raising Funds For Victims of Cyclone Idai

Mi Casa is leading efforts to provide support to the victims of Cyclone Idai. This ghastly disaster caused great damage in Mozambique, Zimbabwe and Malawi. Mi Casa is a band based in Johannesburg, South Africa and consists of three members, Dr Duda and pianist, J’Something, plus Mo-T.

Cyclone Idai has been described as one of the worst tropical cyclones on record, to affect Africa and the Southern Hemisphere as a whole. Mozambique was greatly affected as the tropical storm tore through, and caused irreversible damage.

The long-lived storm lasted almost 3 weeks and caused catastrophic damage in Mozambique, Zimbabwe and Malawi. More than 600,000 people have been affected by the devastation with the death toll reaching 800 as of Saturday. Hundreds are still missing.
