In light of the recent Bratz fever, I have been thinking of the movie which I enjoyed as a child. The movie aptly named; Bratz: the Movie helped address issues that young girls feel, especially juxtaposing who they want to be with what they are expected to be.
In this movie, the four major characters were played by Nathalia Ramos (Yasmin), Janel Parrish (Jade), Logan Browning (Sasha) and Skyler Shaye (Cloe). Though the movie received poor ratings, it was a girl’s delight.
The Bratz movie was a global hit. Since the Bratz dolls were already famous, it was expected that its film variant would do well. Aptly titled Bratz: the movie, the reception it received was amazing. The Bratz cast was perfect and they truly evoked emotions in their young audience.
Nathalia Ramos:
Natalia Ramos played Yasmin in Bratz the movie. After Bratz, Nathalia starred in the movie, The Damned. She was also the lead character in the Nickolodeon series; House of Anubis. Currently, she is a political scientist.

She last starred in the 2016 thriller, Wildflower.
Skylar Shaye:
Skylar Shaye played Cloe in Bratz the movie. Post Bratz, Skylar has starred in the movies; Baby Geniuses and JL Ranch. She is currently dating musician, Christian Lopez.

Logan Browning:
Logan Browning starred as Sasha in Bratz the movie. Logan has had an amazing career post-Bratz. She has been in a slew of TV shows starting from Meet the Browns to Powers. However, she was a main cast member in the famous dance series, Hit the Floor.
She starred in The Perfection and has gone on to play the recurring role of Samantha in Dear White People.
Janel Parrish:
Janel Parrish played Jade in Bratz the movie. Since then, Janel has starred in the hugely popular series; Pretty Little Liars and it’s spin-off series, Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists. She also acted in one of the biggest movies of 2018; To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before co-starring with Noah Centineo and Lana Condor.
In September 2018, she got married to Chris Long in Waikane, Hawaii.

Watching the Bratz movie was an experience I can still remember many years later. I fell in love with the Bratz cast and was so happy that their storylines ended wonderfully.
